Just finished Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, a sci-fi classic by Philip K. Dick, so my teaser this week is instead from Brady Udall’s The Lonely Polygamist, which I received as an ARC from W.W Norton & Company.
The teaser:
To put it as simply as possible: this is the story of a polygamist who has an affair.
I love the simple, (quirky!) storyteller-like quality of that opener! What’s your teaser this fine Tuesday?

This sounds like a funny read with a good narrative personality. Let me know when you’re done reviewing it!
Thanks for visiting The Crowded Leaf.
I’ve already laughed out loud several times, and I’m only on page 35 or so!
Sounds good. I’m interested to see your review! Here’s my TT and Contest.

Too funny, a rather contradictory title—love it!
Here’s mine.
Haha, I love the title too! Thanks for visiting.
I actually just added this to my reading list! It sounds so interesting, and what a great and simple opening line. I look forward to your review!
What a coincidence! I’m enjoying it so far and can’t wait to review it.
Fabulous teaser, great wit and I adore the title.
It definitely does have a funny, almost tongue-in-cheek tone. Thanks for visiting!
What a great opening line. It makes me really curious, which is what an opening line is supposed to do I guess. I’ll be looking forward to your review!
I know, it hooked me immediately too! It’s a long book but I’ve got a feeling it’ll go fast.
Oh my this sounds like it might be really hilarious love the teaser. Also loved you comment about the Dwarves getting the short end of the stick. Thanks for stopping by.
It’s very funny, very droll–I’m liking it!
And thanks, haha! I actually didn’t even mean to make that joke, but when I was rereading it before I posted, I saw that my subconscious was having a little fun at dwarves’ expense.
I hope that you enjoy your book. Here’s mine.
Thanks Lori! Checking yours out now!
Hehe, great teaser! Hope you’re enjoying this one
