Since I’m still reading my Audubon book, I’m doing something a bit different, but hopefully still kosher, for my Teaser Tuesday this week. It’s a teaser from a book that I’d like to read: Horns, by Joe Hill.
The teaser, via Amazon:
Ignatius Perrish spent the night drunk and doing terrible things. He woke up the next morning with a thunderous hangover, a raging headache . . . and a pair of horns growing from his temples.
Mystery! Angst! Weirdness! Sounds good, eh? And best of all, Horns comes out today! Woot! I myself love a good dark, twisted tale of love and revenge, and it sounds like Horns delivers. If anyone reads and reviews it, let me know–I’d love to know what other book bloggers think.

Ignatius is always a good name, and I really like how simple and straightforward the opening is- I love it when fantasy is dealt with matter-of-factly. Looks very nice!

I love that teaser! It sounds like a very interesting book.
Have you read either of his other books? I think there are two. I read his short story collection, 20th Century Ghosts, and really enjoyed it. I haven’t read Heart-Shaped Box or Horns, but they are definitely on my list. This is a great teaser!
