What are you currently reading?
I’m still reading Audubon: The Making of an American, which I mentioned in yesterday’s Teaser Tuesday post. And honestly, I may be reading it for a while; it’s a dense 400+ pages! But as a biography of one of the most talented and celebrated wildlife artists and naturalists out there, it’s extremely readable, and so far I highly recommend it!
What did you recently finish reading?
I tore through Catching Fire, Suzanne Collins’s sequel to The Hunger Games, in a few hours last Sunday. A fun page-turner, with another damn cliffhanger ending!
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’ve got a few things waiting for me on my bookshelf, including The Bean Trees by Barbara Kingsolver, Last Child in the Woods by Richard Louve, and Of a Feather by Scott Weidensaul. That looks a bit non-fiction heavy, though, so I’m open to recommendations! 🙂 What have you read recently that you absolutely could not put down?

The Hunger Games: Book Three! As you can see, I still have about six months to wait (!!). It’s so early that there isn’t even an Amazon summary of this yet. So all I can say is that it’s the conclusion to The Hunger Games series, a revolution is brewing, and everyone (but especially PEETA) is in danger. In the time it takes for this book to come out, I will have moved to a different state, gotten a new apartment, potentially have adopted a dog, and changed jobs. And I will STILL read this book the second it hits shelves.
